About us
A local recycling partner built for how waste is managed today.
NextCycle International is a scrap collection and recycling company based in the Mahe region. We collect dry recyclables from homes, shops, bars, hotels, offices and institutions, and make sure every kilo reaches the right recycler.
We run our own 3,000 sq ft facility for sorting, baling and storage, and our own fleet of collection vehicles. That means fewer handoffs, faster pickups and full control over where your material goes.

SWM Rules 2026 readiness
The rules have changed. We've already changed with them.
The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 replaced the 2016 rules and came into effect on 1 April 2026. They apply to homes, businesses and institutions alike, and NextCycle's operations are built to help you comply.
What the new rules mean for you
- • Four-stream segregation is now mandatory: wet, dry, sanitary and special care waste must be kept separate at source.
- • Bulk waste generators carry more responsibility. You qualify if you have a floor area of 20,000 sq m or more, use 40,000 litres of water a day or more, or generate 100 kg of waste a day or more.
- • Extended Bulk Waste Generator Responsibility (EBWGR) means bulk generators must ensure their waste is managed in an environmentally sound way, end to end.
- • Unsegregated waste costs more to dispose of than segregated waste.
- • Tracking is going digital, with a centralised online portal for monitoring waste across its lifecycle.
